INFORMATION CAMPAIGN IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE PHENOMENON OF HUMAN TRAFFIKING
Since March 2011, Association Pro Refugiu started a special campaign to inform young people about the implications of the phenomenon of human trafficking, the factors that can lead to the recruitment of victims, the applicable law. Counties from Romania taken in consideration: Teleorman, Giurgiu, Olt, Timis, Galati, Bucharest.
The information campaigns will take place throughout the entire year 2011. At least 5,000 young people will be informed on this phenomenon.
On 05/11/2011 Association Pro Refugiu has signed a partnership agreement with the School Inspectorate from Bucharest, Romania, in order to conduct in schools the information campaign.
So far, 1000 students from the regions mentioned above were informed about the phenomenon of human trafficking. Materials were distributed and the informationes mentioned in these materials were analyzed by the representatives of the association together with the children and the teachers that were present to these information sessions.
