On 2 February 2023, took place the kick-off meeting for the project – Litigating change: training lawyers on the EU rule of law acquis – LighT -, that was held in a hybrid format, online and onsite in Athens, Greece.
The transnational project, co-financed by the Justice Programme of the European Union, started on 15 January 2023 and will be implemented until November 2024, in the Member States partnering in the project.
The proposed action will train 345 lawyers and 30 multipliers in Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary and Poland on the EU rule of law acquis. The action espouses an innovative methodology that goes beyond the mere transfer of knowledge and is expected to empower participants in the project activities to become agents of change in their respective jurisdictions.
