On 19 September 2024, a task force meeting was organized in Rome within the project Enhance the knowledge and skills of legal professionals and other stakeholders in using strategic litigation to enforce the rights of persons with disabilities (LITIS) implemented with the financial support of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV).
LITIS legal experts and invited stakeholders from Italy, Romania and Spain discussed relevant legal aspects as to produce a publication that will approach strategic litigation in the context of protecting and safeguarding the rights of people with disabilities who are at risk of multiple and intersectional discrimination due to their specific situation and status.
