ASSOCIATION PRO REFUGIU implemented between 21-23 November 2014 a training for lawyers as part of the transnational project Promotion of the rights of trafficked persons in Bulgaria, Romania and Slovakia with emphasis on legal support- A human rights based approach. The project is implemented on 3 years period of time (2013-2015) with the financial support of the European Commission ISEC Program. The training was implemented alongside its Romanian partners Association Adpare and the project coordinator Netherlands Helsinki Committee. The objective of this event was to specialize lawyers in providing legal counseling, assistance for human trafficking victims and also to create a national network of lawyers. At the event 22 lawyers participated. During the training lawyers learned more about human trafficking according with national and international legislation, communication lawyer-victim, victims’ rights.
