On 20 November 2025, the Association Pro Refugiu, in partnership with the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest, the University of Salamanca and the Italian Coalition for Civil Liberties and Rights, organised a conference in Bucharest, attended by 30 legal professionals from institutions and organisations from Romania, Italy and Spain. The event was organized within the project Enhance the knowledge and skills of legal professionals and other stakeholders in using strategic litigation to enforce the rights of persons with disabilities, which is implemented between March 2024 and December 2025 with the financial support of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Program. During the conference, information was presented on the results obtained in the project and the relevance of strategic litigation in the promotion and protection of the rights of persons with disabilities was discussed in an interactive manner.
